The Area C project will make central sewer available to approximately 694 homes. Construction completion is expected to be July 2008.

The new water lines are available. Fliers outlining steps to hookup are being mailed to property owners. For reliability and safety, consider connecting to central water. Wells can be converted for irrigation. Backflow devices installed by a licensed plumber are required. • Construction of the central sewer system will involve the installation of force main piping 2 to 18 inches in diameter and vacuum mains ranging in size from 4 to 10 inches in diameter. Typically, piping will be installed within county rights-of-way and easements from 3 to 12 feet beneath the roadway (or ground) surface.
• Asphalt will be removed from a portion of the roadway and a dewatering system will be installed in most areas; the trench will be excavated and pipe placed in the trench; the trench will be backfilled and stabilized. Shallow service lines will be installed, and the roadway will be reconstructed upon completion of the installation of utility lines.
• This construction will be disruptive. Your cooperation during construction is requested and will help expedite the completion of the project.
