| Area B |
|
| The Area B project, with about 106 connections, has been placed on hold. This project has been moved outside the current five year Capital Improvement Program (CIP) until additional grant or supplementary funding is available. |
|
| Description |
|
| This project includes design and construction of a central sewer system for approximately 106 property owners in the Phillippi Creek Septic System Replacement Program - Area B. The new system requires the installation of sewer piping along rights-of-way and construction of a collection/pumping station that will collect and transfer wastewater to a treatment facility. |

Service Area
| Located east of Tuttle Avenue and north of 17th Street |
| Size of Area: |
Approx. 45 acres |
| Approx. Connections: |
106 |
| Type of System: |
Gravity Sewer or Low Pressure Sewer | |
Construction
- Construction of the central sewer system will involve the installation of either 1.5" and 2" pressure sewer or 8" gravity sewers. Typically, piping will be installed within county rights-of-way and easements from 3 to 12 feet beneath the roadway (or ground) surface.
- Asphalt will be removed from a portion of the roadway and a dewatering system will be installed in most areas; the trench will be excavated and pipe placed in the trench; the trench will be backfilled and stabilized. Shallow service lines will be installed, and the roadway will be reconstructed upon completion of the installation of utility lines.
- This construction will be disruptive. Your cooperation during construction is requested and will help expedite the completion of the project.
